A Bit About Me

Richard Renton is a British actor who’s latest credits include the Film Four film Censor directed by Prano Bailey Bond alongside BAFTA nominee Niamh Algar, Davey Anderson’s play Blackout including a run in The National Theatre.
Richard is currently rehearsing for the Richard Crawford play The Invitation opening January 2020 after which he returns to the screen to play the lead role of James McCrory in the biopic based on his life as the champion bare-knuckle boxing champion. In June 2020 Richard’s debut play Nothing In A Butterfly developed in Soho Theatre opens, in which he will play the lead.
A character actor, Richard is known to commit to the demands of any role.
